Concord‑Carlisle High School is seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and collaborative professional to manage the school’s master schedule and data integrity. This role is critical in ensuring that our educational vision translates into a functional daily reality for students and staff.
The candidate will have excellent data management skills and will be an expert in the Aspen Student Information System.
Key Responsibilities- Master Schedule Development:
Assist administration in the annual construction of the master schedule, ensuring optimal use of time, space, and staff resources while prioritizing student course requests. - Course & Section Management:
Perform all technical entries for creating, modifying, and deleting courses and sections within Aspen; manage the student scheduling process used by counselors, teachers, department heads, and administrators. - Data Management and Integrity:
Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, withdrawals, and transcript updates. - State Reporting:
Assist with the preparation and submission of state‑mandated data reports (SIMS, SCS, EPIMS) ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with DESE standards. - System Optimization:
Serve as the building‑level expert for Aspen, troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, and provide internal support/training for staff on SIS workflows. - Standardized Test Coordination:
Support operations and logistics around standardized tests. - Collaboration:
Work closely with IT Specialists, Department Chairs, and the Guidance Department to identify and resolve database needs, eliminate scheduling bottlenecks, and manage class size balances. - New Student Registration:
Manage new student registration and the development of a student’s schedule. - Data Support and Analysis:
Fulfill data requests from internal and external sources by extracting data from internal databases and provide data analysis support on committees. - Other Duties:
Complete other duties as assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or Central Office Administrator.
- Aspen Proficiency (Required):
Advanced, hands‑on experience with the Follett Aspen SIS, specifically the scheduling engine and secondary school modules. - Analytical Thinking:
Ability to visualize and solve complex scheduling puzzles involving multiple variables and constraints. - Technical Accuracy:
High level of precision in data entry and a detailed eye for spotting data discrepancies. - Communication:
Explain technical scheduling constraints to non‑technical stakeholders with clarity; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. - Software:
Solid computer proficiency, especially with spreadsheets and database programs, pivot tables, Excel and Google Sheets. - Project Management:
Strong analytical and project management skills, and attention to detail. - Massachusetts DESE Supervisor/Director educator license required.

Compensation and Benefits- Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000.
