We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of contract negotiations and agreements to support ITF’s business operations and collaborations.

This role will focus on drafting and negotiating service agreements, consulting agreements, confidential disclosure agreements as well as lifecycle management of agreements. Additionally, the Contracts Manager handles other commercial phase agreements and mitigates risk.

Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in an environment with multiple stakeholders. For the Contracts Manager role, we are open to remote or hybrid. All candidates applying must be willing and able to come to our office in Concord, MA or other travel based on business need.

What You’ll Do:
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts
  • Ensure contracts align with company policies, legal standards and business objectives
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of a centralized contract lifecycle management system; ensure that all contracts are properly filed with appropriate data, tracked and accessible; monitor contract deadlines and renewals; and assist with the contracts execution process
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in contract terms and conditions in collaboration with Legal, Finance and other key functional teams
  • Work closely with internal departments (g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Medical Affairs) to understand their contract needs and provide support
  • Assist in developing and updating contract templates, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk
  • Assist in training and educating employees on contract-related processes and best practices
  • As needed, prepare reports on contract status and key related metrics
Who you Are:

As an experienced contracts manager, you bring strong collaboration and negotiation skills to the table. You excel in fast-paced, startup environments where growth and scaling are part of the daily rhythm. Working closely with internal teams, you ensure contracts are skillfully negotiated, minimize business risks, and align seamlessly with organizational needs.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years of related and progressive experience in biotech and/or pharmaceutical contracts management
Preferred

Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration or a related field
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience is relevant
  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or equivalent certification is desirable
  • Commercial contracts management experience highly preferred
  • Experience with leading contracts lifecycle management system(s)/contract management software preferred
  • Proven experience in expeditiously drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Information:

Base compensation range for this role is: $135,000 - $145,000. Compensation is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
