Job DescriptionWe are looking to fill positions in our after‑school program for the 2025‑26 school year. The ideal candidate is ambitious, creative, caring, and passionate, with professional experience working with elementary school‑aged children.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and well‑being of children in the program.
- Provide general program supervision.
- Create and implement activities.
- Assist with homework and guide children according to their developmental needs.
- Bring special skills in enrichment areas such as art, music, theater, sports, dance, or other specialties.
- Experience working with elementary age school children.
- Bachelor’s degree or degree in progress with relevant experience preferred.
- Employment contingent on successful passing of a MA Background Records Check (CORI, SORI, DCF, and Fingerprinting).
Part‑time, hourly positions available during the school year from September through June, following the STCPS school schedule. The after‑school program operates Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 5:30 pm, with an exception of 1:00 – 5:30 pm on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. Extra hours will be available during February and April vacation weeks.
