English Teacher

Eagle Hill School, an independent boarding school in Hardwick, Massachusetts, seeks a teacher of English to join the faculty for the  school year. The successful candidate will hold a degree in English or education and demonstrate an innovative approach to curriculum design and instruction. • Readiness to teach all levels of English
• Support students as they solve problems and think critically
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required

• Teaching writing courses with focuses on process, multimodality, genre, and rhetorical analysis; teaching literature with a focus on literary analysis.
• Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance student learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually revise and implement the curriculum to adjust to diverse learners.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress.
• Engage in the boarding school community and co‑curricular programs as well as provide inspirational and innovative education in the classroom setting

This is a full‑time position and requires the employee to be on site (not remote).
