Job Description

Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional School District are seeking a Math Resource Center (MARC) Tutor for Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Massachusetts.

Starting Date: Immediately

The tutor will provide individual and group tutoring to high school students in mathematics. The role includes conducting informal assessments, supporting instructional practices, and collaborating with students, staff, and parents to improve student performance. The position is a direct service supplement to teaching and requires a bachelor's degree.

Dates: August 31 2026 – November 25 2026

Salary: Appropriate step on the tutor salary schedule, depending on experience.

• Guide, supervise, and coordinate daily classroom activities as directed by the special education teacher and prepare lesson materials.
• Present subject matter to students, developing and implementing strategies to meet diverse learning styles and emotional challenges under the direction of the special education teacher or administrator.
• Assist the special education teacher/case manager with IEP accommodations and modifications and perform other classroom-related tasks.
• Listen and communicate effectively and professionally with all students, staff, and, when necessary, parents.

• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
