Job Description- 1. Responsible for all organizational matters and technical coaching instruction within the Boys Basketball program
- 2. Must communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- 3. Recommend selection of assistant coaches to the Athletic Director for final confirmation by the Principal; and evaluate coaches within the basketball program
- 4. Participate in Dual County League meetings and conferences and stay abreast of changes in rules and regulations in MIAA and National High School Federation
- 5. Work with school administration, nurses, and athletic trainers on the physical and emotional well-being of student-athletes
- 6. Assume responsibility for school facilities, including gyms, locker rooms, and the fitness center, and keep inventory of equipment and supplies
- 7. Work closely with the guidance department regarding colleges that are of interest to team members. Establish relationships with college coaches
- - Bachelor's Degree required 1. A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a head coach in an educational setting OR at least five (5) years of successful experience as an assistant coach in an educational setting. 2. CPR and First Aid certified
