Job Description

Position Overview

The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is seeking one faculty or support staff member to serve as DEIB Building Leader. This role is a two-year appointment through June 16, 2028.

The DEIB Building Leader will collaborate with Co-Principals Brian Miller, Katie Stahl, Cristina Jonson, and Andrew Nyamekye to plan, support, and promote DEIB initiatives and programming  DEIB Building Leader will help ensure that evidence-based DEIB practices are promoted to foster a greater sense of belonging among students and staff and advance a more equitable and inclusive school culture  DEIB Building Leader will report to Brian, Katie, and Andrew Nyamekye.

Term, Compensation, and Time Commitment

Term:
Two years, with an opportunity to extend the appointment beyond the initial two-year term.

Stipend: $3,495 paid evenly throughout the 2026–2027 school year.

Time Commitment:
Approximately 3–6 hours per month.

Qualifications

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues and students across diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

Ability to facilitate courageous conversations about unconscious (implicit) bias, microaggressions, and other social justice-related topics.

Professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming school community.

Position Type: Part-time
