As a Lead Teacher Assistant, you partner directly with lead educators to create a warm, organized, and inclusive classroom where every child thrives.

You support academic growth, guide positive choices, and build strong bridges between the school and families.

Your work directly impacts student success by ensuring that the classroom runs smoothly and that each student receives the personalized attention they deserve.

• Facilitates positive classroom management to maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment for all students.
• Partners with teachers on lesson planning support to design creative and effective daily activities.
• Fosters high student engagement through interactive, enthusiastic, and supportive instructional assistance.
• Applies differentiated instruction techniques to meet the unique learning needs of diverse students.
• Manages student behavior proactively by using constructive reinforcement and clear expectations.
• Provides targeted special education support to ensure inclusive learning opportunities for students with diverse needs.
• Maintains open and professional parent communication to share student progress and build trusting relationships.
• Supports curriculum implementation by preparing materials and guiding small group learning sessions.

• Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Brings proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Demonstrates success in supporting classroom activities and assisting teachers with daily routines.

• Possesses strong knowledge of effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Applies skill in lesson planning support and curriculum implementation.
• Displays ability to deliver differentiated instruction and special education support.
• Communicates effectively with students, and staff.

• Holds an Associate degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Shows specialized training in behavioral intervention or special education support.

• Associates preferred, High School Diploma required
• Training or experience teaching skills to a students who have mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities
• A valid driver's license
• Undergo Massachusetts Background record check process
• Reliable transportation to residential homes located in Massachusetts
• Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs
