Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for new construction, renovations, and repair projects.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions while ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and construction documents for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs.
• Conduct structural assessments, site inspections, and forensic investigations to diagnose and address structural deficiencies.
• Utilize advanced structural analysis software and modeling tools to optimize design efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MS preferred).
• E.I.T. certification required
  , PE license preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of structural design experience in commercial, residential, or institutional buildings.
• Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design with expertise in structural analysis.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software (e.g., SAP
  2000, ETABS, RISA, RAM, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
