Great Horse History

We love the game of golf, but since we don't love the attitude encountered at most clubs, we decided to build Great Horse around the idea of like-minded members enjoying a lifestyle club without the stuffiness of traditional clubs. Great Horse is a private club in Hampden, Massachusetts, where everyone will feel completely at home in our opulent mountain retreat. Our members enjoy world-class golf and enjoy unparalleled clubhouse amenities such as the outdoor pool, private spa, fitness center, golf simulators, tennis courts, and the restaurant and bar.

It's different at Great Horse.

As one of the most sought-after breeders in the nation, the Antonacci family has been synonymous with racing greatness and integrity for over 50 years. Their involvement as owners and breeders in five Hambletonian Champions with some of the greatest racehorses the sport has ever laid eyes upon makes them well-known on harness racing's biggest stages. To reflect this proud history, they selected Great Horse, English for "Gran Cavallo," the title of Leonardo Da Vinci's magnificent horse statue.

The Nail Technician provides nail care services to members based on their specific needs and preferences, such as polish colors, preferred nail length, and nail health. This commission-based position requires candidates to be available to take appointments at least one regularly scheduled day per week. Please note that Great Horse is a non-tipping facility.

• Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures, which include removing/cleaning all existing nail residue and previously applied nail polish from fingernails and toenails.
• Consulting with members on nail polish color preferences, nail art preferences, and desired nail length/shape.
• Sterilizing nail tools and equipment before use and after each nail session.
• Massaging members, feet, arms, and hands.
• Ensuring work workstations are cleaned and properly stocked.
• Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards
• Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

• State manicurist/cosmetologist license.
• Previous work experience in a nail technician setting.
• In-depth knowledge of manicure and pedicure techniques.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods.
• Detail-oriented and patient.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Good oral communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team

• Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the workday.
• Required to exert physical effort to handle objects over 30 pounds.
