Cutting edge Immuno-Oncology Biotech is redefining the landscape of by developing innovative, targeted cancer therapies. Our science-driven approach identifies novel drug targets that selectively eliminate cancer cells, with the goal of delivering transformative treatments to patients in need.
We are seeking an experienced hands-on Director, Clinical Operations willing to roll up their sleeves to lead and drive the execution of our clinical development programs and eventually manage a team of Clinical Project Managers. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the operational strategy of a fast-growing biotech company at the cutting edge of cancer research.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Clinical Operations Strategy – Oversee the planning, execution, and management of company’s clinical trials, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.Trial Oversight & Execution – Direct all aspects of clinical trial operations, including site selection, patient recruitment, monitoring, and vendor management.Cross-Functional Leadership – Collaborate with Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and other departments to optimize study design, timelines, and deliverables.Vendor & CRO Management – Select, negotiate, and manage partnerships with CROs and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of trials.Budget & Resource Allocation – Oversee clinical trial budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining high-quality standards.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH, and global regulatory guidelines, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.Team Leadership & Mentorship – Build and develop a high-performing Clinical Operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field (advanced degree preferred).12+ years of clinical operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role.Oncology experience required, preferably in early-phase clinical trials.Strong expertise in trial management, global regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Proven ability to lead complex clinical programs in a fast-paced biotech environment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.Experience managing CROs, vendors, and internal clinical teams.Why Join Us?
