Job Description
Speech Language Pathologist - Concord, MA
Salary Range: $40,000 – $57,000 per year (based on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule).
We are looking for a Full‑Time Speech Therapist to join our team at Care One in Concord, MA. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide high‑quality care to residents across multiple facilities, often traveling to meet patient needs. As part of an interdisciplinary team, the SLP will manage resources, coordinate treatment plans, and balance outcomes with cost‑effective, efficient treatment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care using accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
- Evaluate residents’ needs and establish effective and efficient treatment plans for assigned patients.
- Manage and coordinate the supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
- Participate in resident screenings according to directed schedules and practices.
- Provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
- Participate in all center‑directed processes and services.
- Show effective management of treatment and non‑treatment related activities.
- Perform necessary clinical documentation to meet required standards.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely billing records.
- Assist with marketing efforts as directed.
- Participate in in‑service training programs as requested.
- Travel to other facilities as needed to provide services.
- Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy.
- Current and active Speech Language Pathology license in the state of operation.
- Preferred experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
- Preferred knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
