Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, for in patient and out patients of all ages.
Minimum Qualifications- Education
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
- Previous RT experience strongly preferred.
- Previous Patient Care Experience Preferred.
- Appropriate clinical rotations during the RT program are considered as satisfactory experience.
- Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
- RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- NPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable during procedures.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
