Position: HR Operations Manager (administration, project support, coordination)

About This Role

As the HR Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a seamless, high-quality experience for candidates and employees while keeping our HR systems, processes, and programs running smoothly. You’ll support recruiting and onboarding, maintain HR systems and records, manage documentation and day-to-day HR operations.

VP, Head of Human Resources

This is an onsite role based in Concord, MA, with flexibility for hybrid work.

What You'll Do
  • Support all HR programs and projects—including talent processes, employee relations, engagement, L&D, compensation/benefits, HR operations, and internal communications
  • Own candidate experience for coordinating interviews, including gathering availability, answering questions, and follow‑up
  • Manage complex scheduling with hiring teams and communicating with both candidates and interview teams
  • Serve as the onsite host for candidates; deliver a welcoming, professional experience
  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems; perform routine audits to ensure data integrity
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes with managers, employees, and HR
  • Update and maintain organizational charts and support updates to HR SharePoint/intranet pages
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate HR-related documentation
  • Manage process for POs and invoices; track vendor agreements and renewals related to HR team
  • Prepare HR materials and logistics needed for HR programs, trainings, and initiatives
  • Provide high touch, first line support for HR inquiries; elevate appropriately
  • Track project milestones, prepare status updates, and help operationalize new programs & processes

Required Skills
  • 5–7+ years of relevant experience in HR operations/administration, or executive administration
  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive information
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated experience being detail‑oriented with strong time management skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
Preferred Skills
  • Direct HR experience; biotech experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with a problem‑solving mindset and proactive approach
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Supporting projects, timelines, and action items
  • Experience with Greenhouse or other ATS platforms
Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is $90,000–$125,000. Compensation is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
