Web Developer

The Bit Fire development team is looking to hire driven front-end web developers to build and improve upon the client experience interfacing with the Bit Fire Media Platform. Potential hires will build web-based tools that control new and existing components of the Platform. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn complex systems in pursuit of designing and implementing creative and intuitive control interfaces, while focusing on user experience and visual design.

A standout candidate has the ability to present complicated APIs in simple and accessible formats.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of all client-facing web-based tools provided by Bit Fire.
• Interface with members of other departments to distill design requirements for future projects.
• Integrate control of new products into existing web-based systems.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have experience in the following technologies, languages, and frameworks:

• Type Script
• Vue 3 / Vite
• Git

Additional experience that is not required, but beneficial, includes:

• PHP 8
• Web Assembly (Wasm)
• Working with Web APIs such as WebRTC, Media Devices, and Plugin development
• SQL and other database infrastructure
• Quasar or other component frameworks
• Basic understanding of broadcast television
• Basic understanding of computer networking
• Basic understanding of media processing tool chains
