Hours:

10:00am - 2:00pm | Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

As a key member of the Information Security team, the IT Security Analyst I will provide security operations coverage and platform administration. The security operations role involves daily monitoring for tickets, alerts, and incidents. The platform administration role involves the maintenance and optimization of various security applications. The IT Security Analyst I will be a member of the Information Security team and report to the Information Security Officer.

The IT Security Analyst works closely with the IT Server, Network, Desktop, and Application teams and vendors to implement security controls and coordinate the roll out of changes to resolve complex issues impacting the environment. The role will require rotating on‑call coverage for one week at a time.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information systems or related specialty strongly preferred, and/or equivalent experience/training.

Experience:

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in information technology, preferably in a desktop support or other similar role, or comparable experience.

Awareness of cybersecurity and privacy principles, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and remediation.

Licensure and/or Certification: A valid Massachusetts Driver's License may be required. Relevant security certifications are preferred.

  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve or elevate computer problems.
  • Ability to interact positively with medical staff under difficult conditions.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and PC hardware.
  • Self‑motivated and eager to learn about new technologies, in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to interact favorably with people and work effectively as a team member.
