A well-established, mission-driven nonprofit human services organization is seeking a hands‑on, values‑based Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visible leadership, operational alignment, and strategic partnership with the Board of Directors and key state agencies. Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will serve as the organization’s chief operating and strategic leader, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, financial stewardship, and strong collaboration across multiple service divisions.
This role is well‑suited for an experienced executive who leads from the field, values accountability, and brings a people‑first leadership approach.
The CEO will be responsible for guiding the organization through its next phase of operational excellence and integration.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the organization in alignment with its mission, values, and strategic priorities
- Partner closely with the Board of Directors on governance, strategy, and organizational sustainability
- Develop and execute short‑and-long term strategic plans, ensuring consistent follow‑through and accountability
- Provide clear, steady leadership across the executive team and management structure
- Oversee all organizational operations across multiple service divisions
- Ensure strong collaboration and alignment between programs to support cohesive service delivery
- Maintain regulatory compliance, licensing, accreditation, and program quality standards
- Foster a performance‑driven culture focused on service excellence and continuous improvement
- Senior human services executive with strong operational leadership experience
- Background in state-funded programs, government contracts, and regulatory environments
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-division organizations
- Financially savvy, collaborative, and accountable leader

Base Salary: $160,000–$200,000
