Description:

The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility for the management of the Endoscopy Unit and Interventional Radiology.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care for assigned patient care nursing units on a 24-hour basis.
The incumbent assures the delivery of quality services.
Professional nursing is practiced in accordance with established standards of nursing and standards of practice.
Reporting to this position are various clinical professional and support positions, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Assistants, and Unit Secretaries.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
