About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Concord, Massachusetts, 01742!
Job Responsibilities
Intrapartum Care: Monitor and manage patients through all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, accurately assessing maternal vital signs and labor progression.
Fetal Monitoring: Perform continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), expertly interpreting tracings, identifying signs of distress, and executing immediate nursing interventions.
Circulating & Recovery: Circulate during Cesarean sections in the L&D surgical suite; provide post-anesthesia recovery care for both mother and newborn.
Newborn Stabilization: Assist with immediate newborn stabilization and resuscitation at birth, assigning APGAR scores and performing initial assessments.

RequirementsLicense: Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, independent inpatient Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Certifications: Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are mandatory. Intermediate or Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification is highly preferred or required.
Competency: High proficiency in high-risk OB care, circulating C-sections, and electronic medical record (EMR) charting systems like Epic.
