Registered Nurse-Interventional Radiology

About this role

Reporting to the Radiology Nurse Supervisor, the Radiology Staff Nurse will provide quality‑nursing care to both in‑ and out‑patients in the department of radiology, including pediatric, adult, elderly, acutely and chronically ill patients. The Radiology Nurse must be prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure. The nurse ensures patient privacy, dignity, and safety.

Full Time

$35.01 - $68.65 / Hourly

Day shift

7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
  • Critical care experience required.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required.
  • BLS healthcare provider required.
  • ACLS required.
  • PALS required.
• Skills
  • Has knowledge of all areas of nursing practice.
  • Demonstrates mature judgment, initiative, and proficiency in nursing skills.
  • Is able to work without direct supervision.
  • Shows professional interest through self-development, continuing education, and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Is knowledgeable in physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
