Emerson Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Medical, General Surgery, and Oncology unit on Wheeler
5. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while caring for a diverse adult population with complex medical and surgical needs.
As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high quality, evidence-based care while supporting patients and families through every stage of treatment and recovery. You will be part of a supportive interdisciplinary team dedicated to clinical excellence, safety, and outstanding patient outcomes.

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult medical, surgical, and oncology patients
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure safe medication administration and adherence to clinical protocols
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Promote a safe, respectful, and healing environment for all patients
- Education
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program required
- Experience
- Previous experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Orthopedic nursing preferred
- Licensure and Certification
- Current RN license in Massachusetts required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Commitment to delivering high quality, patient-centered care
- Proficiency with electronic systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
