Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Concord, MA
Rate: Up to $3000.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shifts Available:- 10-Hour Days | 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (4 Shifts/Week)
13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Hours:40 per week
Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Critical Care experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license
- Experience with IV skills, physical assessments, and aseptic techniques
- Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- Provide quality nursing care to inpatient and outpatient radiology patients including pediatric, adult, elderly, acutely ill, and chronically ill populations
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and ECG changes
- Recognize and assist with treatment of contrast reactions
- Respond to emergency situations during radiology procedures
- Assist radiologists with special procedures requiring nursing skills
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients as appropriate
- Administer medications and provide continuity of care for critically ill patients
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including monitors, infusion pumps, oxygen equipment, and ventilators
- Document patient status, nursing interventions, and care provided
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and care
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, safety, and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe and effective patient care
