- Supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to support staff, ensuring excellent team-based care.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners to achieve the best outcomes.
- Educate patients and families, empowering them to understand and participate in their care.
- Document care plans and patient progress clearly and accurately.
- Stay current with continuing education, safety protocols, and professional competencies.
- Support staff development through preceptorship and mentoring.
- Actively contribute to unit and hospital projects focused on improving patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs; within 6 months for new grads.
- Medical/Surgical and ICU/CCU experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Comfort with computers and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
As a Registered Nurse in our Special Care Unit, you'll work in a supportive, team-driven environment where every voice matters and professional growth is encouraged. You'll make a difference not just in the lives of your patients, but also in the lives of their families. We celebrate collaboration, compassion, and the pursuit of excellence in everything we do.
