We use organic garden maintenance practices and do not apply or work with any harmful chemicals or synthetic fertilizers.
The RoleWe are seeking a passionate and experienced worker to join our Stewardship Team. This role is for a dedicated professional who has the technical skill to execute sophisticated, long-term care plans. The ideal candidate understands that the most beautiful gardens are also the healthiest and will be responsible for actively implementing our Stewardship Approach. While there are general maintenance practices involved, our approach is less traditional and truer to natural arrangements.
You will be expected to perform typical maintenance tasks such as raking, digging, pruning (depending on experience), cultivating, planting, and (selective) weeding. Tasks will also involve loading and unloading tools, loading and unloading brush and debris.

- Aesthetics:
Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail for refining the garden's visual character. - Cleanliness:
Workers are required to maintain the cleanliness of company trucks and equipment. You are expected to leave each property cleaner than when you arrived.
- Proven experience in a professional gardening, horticulture, or ecological landscape role is a plus, though we are willing to train.
- Understanding and practical application of ecological gardening principles (e.g., living soil, plant health diagnostics, native plants).
- Knowledge of pruning, plant identification, and soil cultivation techniques.
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and using professional-grade tools.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively as part of a knowledgeable team.
- Valid driver's license.
Hourly Rate: $26 - $34/hour (based on full-time schedule). Flexible scheduling outside of peak seasons.
