Territory Manager – Commercial Insurance

Central/Northern Massachusetts / Southern New Hampshire | Field-Based (Remote - Travel Required)

We’re hiring a Territory Manager (Commercial Insurance Producer) to grow retail agency relationships across Central/Northern MA and Southern NH. This role is focused on driving profitable production by placing business into in-house markets and serving as a trusted partner to agency relationships.

We’re an independently owned specialty insurance wholesaler supporting independent agents with access to property & casualty commercial and personal lines solutions across the surplus lines and specialty markets. Our team is underwriting-driven, responsive, and relationship-focused.

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow a defined territory through strong retail agent relationships
• Drive submissions and placement into internal markets
• Manage a portfolio of 150+ accounts
• Spend significant time on the road meeting agents in person
• Collaborate with internal underwriting/operations teams to align on goals and execution
• Provide feedback internally to keep the team aligned on territory priorities

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial insurance experience required (carrier, wholesaler, MGA, or agency)
• Comfortable in a B2B, relationship-driven role
• Strong organization, follow-through, and accountability
• Comfortable traveling regularly throughout the territory

Sales experience is helpful but not required. Many top performers come from underwriting backgrounds, especially those who have quoted commercial business and want to move into a production-facing role.

Location Preference

• Northern MA or Southern NH preferred
• Central MA is a plus, but slightly north is ideal for territory coverage
