Security Officer - Part-Time Hospital Patrol in Concord, MA involves serving and safeguarding clients across healthcare settings and more. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
  • Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations calmly, escalating to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor way finding, and help maintain orderly movement in high-traffic areas such as lobbies, waiting rooms, and emergency department approaches as assigned.
  • Complete security-related reports and shift documentation, communicate observations to on-site leadership, and support investigations by preserving details and/or evidence in accordance with policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
