Security Officer - Transit Station Patrol

Allied Universal - Up to $23.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with clinical staff, and notifying local emergency services when needed.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout corridors, waiting areas, entrances, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report concerns per post orders.;
Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, directing foot traffic, and maintaining orderly lines during high-volume periods.;
Document incidents, patrol activity, and unusual observations in written logs and electronic reports, escalating issues through the chain of command as required.
