Senior Industrial Security Representative/Facility Security Officer

Leidos is seeking an Industrial Security Representative (ISR)/FSO to support the Air Force Cloud 1 ACSS contract in Concord MA.

The ISR/FSO is responsible for safeguarding industrial installations, resources, materials, tools, and information essential to the organization's operations. They protect and manage classified information and equipment developed by, or entrusted to, the organization, requiring in-depth understanding of security policies, procedures, and oversight requirements for proper classification, access, handling, storage, and destruction of classified or sensitive material. They develop, implement and analyze programs ensuring adherence to federal laws, regulations and directives for classification management.

They manage clearance prescreening, verification and maintenance, including upgrades or downgrades, crossovers of existing clearances, continuous vetting, and periodic re‑investigations at all clearance levels. They oversee foreign visitor and facility access, special and restricted access programs, and brief and debrief individuals on requirements and responsibilities of privileged access to sensitive programs. Senior levels may also include oversight of threat mitigation, including planning, development and management of corporate asset protection programs.

The ISR/FSO works under the guidance of the Leidos Defense & Intel IT, Business Area Security Manager in the application of Leidos security standards and practices to existing government facilities identified by the contract.

The ISR/FSO is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. They will directly support the customer and be committed to protecting classified information, assets, and secure spaces. The candidate will serve as a security team member and will directly interface and collaborate with key leaders and customers. Specifically, the candidate will safeguard all assets and information and process/manage OSA and access control requirements and visit requests.

This position will provide security management and implementation of security policies and procedures within the facility. Areas of emphasis are physical security, information security, OPSEC, and verification of clearances/accesses. The ISR/FSO will be required to interact with and provide security support to DoD officials. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct ISR/FSO duties such as processing Prime and Sub DD254s, escorting uncleared personnel/visitors, maintaining facility checklists, conducting routine inspections, maintaining databases, responding to emerging security‐related issues, processing outgoing and validating incoming visit requests, and managing, maintaining and accrediting the Open Storage Area (OSA).
  • Conduct personnel security processing actions including requesting, reviewing, approving, and submitting clearance packages in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain personnel security databases to track new employee security clearance actions and annual security training completion status.
  • Conduct security self‑inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
  • Coordinate with Leidos security professionals, program managers, capture managers, counterintelligence investigators.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders such as government customers, oversight authorities (e.g., DCSA, Air Force), and OSA accreditation inspections.
  • Document compliance activities in accordance with the governing authority approved authorization package.
  • Update and maintain facility checklists as needed.
  • Use centralized services and databases to record clearances, incident reports, movement of personnel, visit requests, etc. to inform the collection of robust performance metrics.
  • Ensure cleared personnel complete and maintain required security education and training.
  • Ensure proper protection and corrective measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered.
