Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions;
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization when required, and document security-related events in daily reports;
Support personnel and visitors by giving directions, answering questions, and communicating observed concerns to supervisors and/or appropriate site contacts
