:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Qualifications
Education
:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education
:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program. - Experience
:
One year of experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical and medication histories
- Preparing patients for exams and assisting with provider evaluations and procedures
- Performing basic diagnostic testing as appropriate and documenting care accurately
- Reinforcing provider-directed patient education
- Maintaining clean, well-stocked exam rooms and adhering to safety and infection-prevention standards
- Assisting with scheduling tests, referrals, follow-ups, and supporting front-office operations
- Participating in quality initiatives, staff meetings, and other MA-related duties

Work Environment
- Outpatient clinical setting with frequent patient interaction.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and use of clinical equipment.
- Potential exposure to infectious materials; PPE provided.
Physical Requirements
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
