Job SummaryThe State of New Hampshire, Office of Professional Licensure and Certification has a full-time vacancy for Project Assistant II.
Performs highly complex and responsible work as the Program Assistant II to the Program Specialist IV relative to office functions involving independent performance of duties; participates in the preparation of correspondence and statistical reports.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTSEach additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Experience:
Equivalent combination of 3 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in Business or Information technology, data management. - License/Certification:

When applicable, the work of an employee in trainee status in this position shall be overseen by a fully qualified individual. An employee in trainee status shall meet the minimum qualifications within the period of time specified on the SJD, not to exceed one year of being hired into this position.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews, researches, monitors, and provides consultation regarding licensure requirements.
- Opens and organizes correspondence, compiles and prepares reports for the Director and Executive Director.
- Assists in planning and coordination of agency and board meetings.
- Organizes and implements short- and long-range goals and objectives for a wide range of legislatively mandated activities and functions affecting the agency and the public.
- Reviews and maintains lists of annual and periodic reports.
- Assists with implementation, monitoring and revising policies, laws and rules relative to licensing and disciplinary activities.
- Collaborates and cooperates with staff and other agencies for efficient effective office performance. Completes other relevant duties as assigned.
- Reports discipline and findings to federal and state authorities.
- Provides information via written correspondence, telephone or personal contact.
