The Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a vibrant group dedicated to delivering premier data center facilities efficiently and prised of seasoned project managers, this team collaborates with vendors and internal teams to execute complex data center construction and network projects successfully. Their extensive expertise in project management, technical design, and on-site construction ensures that our data centers uphold the highest quality, efficiency, and sustainability standards, playing a vital role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving our growth.

This pivotal role provides emergency escalation support and response to Data Center Delivery builds across the United States, involving required travel of 30%. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive plans that optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence in project delivery. By engaging with key stakeholders and managing high‑stakes vendor relationships, you will navigate regulatory compliance complexities. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks will be essential in maintaining project timelines and budgets, while also ensuring the successful management and delivery of critical initiatives outlined in our strategic roadmap.

This position oversees data center‑focused projects and initiatives, making effective management of these construction projects crucial to our overall success in customer delivery. You will directly interact with our Colo and LV partners' leadership and project management teams, fostering accountability and driving improvements to meet customer needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper design and process documentation is delivered to the Colo, execute on our ISP circuit contracts, and update all internal tracking tools for handover to our operations teams at the project’s conclusion.

• Lead end‑to‑end program management, shaping approaches to achieve desired outcomes through delivery.
• Execute project planning by developing and implementing long‑term strategies for data center construction and network build projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure comprehensive coordination between design and construction before contracting.
• Partner with the construction team to enable seamless collaboration and efficient handoff.
• Manage all phases of complex data center construction projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Work closely on tenant fit‑out and LV integration throughout design, construction, commissioning, and fit‑out phases, ensuring full coordination.
• Select, negotiate, and manage external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project success.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are utilized cost‑effectively and financial constraints are adhered to.
• Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and costs.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns as necessary.
• Implement quality control processes to uphold the highest standards of construction and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular project visits to ensure schedule adherence, coordination, and quality throughout the project.
