Member Service Representative III

Position Summary

Under moderate to minimal supervision of management, the Member Service Representative III will focus on the unique opportunity to identify needs to enrich our members' lives. The Member Service Representative III primarily meets member needs through residential lending, mortgages and consumer loans while proactively offering additional products and services. As needed, the role also conducts routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and payments.

Ownership of the experience is crucial as the Member Service Representative III will be a single point of contact to develop member relationships.

• Prepares and disburses loans within lending limits and credit union guidelines, with more focus home equity loans/lines and mortgages.
• Fulfills members requests by providing outstanding services, problem resolution and needs of based selling: completes the full process from application to closing for all residential lending, including mortgages, while cross selling additional products.
• Participates in branch sales activities such as CUDL calls, member outreach, and completes any cross sell opportunities that have been referred by staff.
• Accurately and efficiently process deposits, payments, withdrawals, cash checks, wires, fraud packets, etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures, as needed.
• Balances cash drawer/TCR and manages all transactions with accuracy and courtesy while maintaining privacy and security.
• Demonstrates openness and willingness to switch between member service and teller functions as needs arise.
• Follows and adheres to the Credit Union's policy regarding attendance and punctuality.

• Goal-oriented, sales focused and driven for results.
• Effective communicator, engages with members and builds relationships regarding product and services.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrates close attention to detail.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Frequent interactions with the public.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of similar related experience as a teller, cashier or in a member/customer service role.
• Previous sales and lending experience preferred.

The working arrangement for this position is fully onsite. No alternative working arrangement is available.
