Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Administrative/Faculty Support, for our Concord Campus BSN Program. This is an on-ground position at our Concord, CA Campus.
Hourly Pay Range
: $21.00-$25.00/hour

Basic Function
Under direct supervision of the BSN Program Director/Assistant Director, the Administrative/Faculty Support position works with BSN Program Staff in providing administrative support interacting directly with Students and the staff, and faculty based on the BSN Program needs.
- The job duties consist of the following and are not limited to:
- Maintaining records and monitoring functioning of lab equipment
- Assisting in preparation of new modules (class preparation, syllabi, course work, etc)
- Collecting immunization documents, monitoring and follow up as needed with students
- Tracking, filing, and follow up of all student work as needed
- Emailing and tracking outstanding student work for all courses
- Proctoring make up exams, remedial work
- Preparation of student files for each instructor for each course and maintenance
- Preparation, monitoring and filing of competency checklists
- Filing student work as appropriate in the archive room
- Maintaining and monitoring faculty folders
- Preparing-organizing faculty, staff, and advisory board meetings
Experience &
Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Organizational knowledge of educational institutions
- One year experience in similar position is preferable
- Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Prior demonstrated experience with Google Suite
- Excellent in communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and listening skills
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Writes clearly and informatively
