Concord High School 9th Grade Orientation Staff Member

The Concord High School 9th Grade Orientation Staff Member will support incoming ninth-grade students during a summer orientation program held four days per week for two weeks in July. This role focuses on helping students successfully transition to high school through relationship-building, engagement, and mentoring. Responsibilities include facilitating small group sessions centered on team building, social-emotional learning, navigating the school building, and developing an understanding of the school's culture and expectations.

Staff members will actively engage students, promote a welcoming and inclusive environment, and serve as positive role models and mentors. This position does not require teacher certification. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in working with adolescents, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to connect with students in a supportive, respectful, and encouraging manner. 4 hours per day, 10 days in July
