• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and support needs
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instruction, materials, and strategies for individualized learning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and related service providers
• Organized, patient, and flexible, with a growth mindset

• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet individual student goals and abilities
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Create a welcoming and encouraging classroom environment that fosters inclusivity and respect
• Communicate proactively with families and team members regarding student growth and needs
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
