Family Center Coordinator/Home Visitor
The Family Center Coordinator/Home Visitor is responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of programming for the Concord Family Center, serving families and children from birth through age five across multiple sites. This role includes coordinating early childhood programming, supporting kindergarten screenings, fostering strong relationships with families, and providing home visiting support and parent education through the Family Center to strengthen parent involvement and engagement.
The Family Center Coordinator/Home Visitor collaborates with families to empower caregivers through play-based learning opportunities and developmentally appropriate activities that support children's growth, development, and school readiness.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children and families, preferably in a family support, early education, or community-based setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster a welcoming environment for families.
- Knowledge of child development, early learning principles, and family engagement strategies.
- Ability to plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities for children ages birth to 5.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technology.
$35.00 per hour, hours per day/week vary, not to exceed 690 hours per year
