Position: Special Education Teacher |

Step into a rewarding contract position impacting students’ lives as a Special Education Teacher for a 3-month leave coverage role working with both elementary and high school age groups. This opportunity allows you to foster positive educational outcomes in a supportive school setting conveniently located near Concord, NH.

Your background in special education will play a vital role in supporting learners with diverse educational needs. You will work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to deliver individualized instruction and create inclusive classroom environments tailored to student strengths and challenges.

Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Current special education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification in New Hampshire
  • Demonstrated experience providing instruction to students with a variety of disabilities at elementary and/or high school levels
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to facilitate partnerships with students, parents, and school staff
  • Adaptability and a solutions-focused mindset, especially when addressing unique learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans customized to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) and learning goals
  • Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral development across grade levels
  • Effectively manage classroom routines and maintain a positive, inclusive environment
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Work closely with general educators and support professionals to ensure student success
