QA Operator (Cable Testing Operator)

[Particularities of this position]
- This position requires long-term skill training after joining, with a maximum of 6 months at our factory in Japan.
- The salary will initially be an annual salary, shifting to a shift-based structure once the new facility is operational.
Carrying out cable tests and providing education for other operators.
Planning, instructing, and documenting tests.
Key Accountabilities- Setting up test equipment and systems.
- Carrying out tests and ensuring equipment accuracy.
- Planning, instructing, and documenting tests (electrical & physical characteristics, outer inspection).
- Creating and checking test records and evaluations.
- Preparing and documenting inspection reports.
- Attending external calibration activities and monitoring calibration status.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and safety rules.
- Creating safety measures for specific areas.
Required:
- Ability to organize testing plans and procedures.
- Supervisory skills in a field setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience with electrical and power cable testing instruments.
- Experience in manufacturing EH & EHV power cables.
- Knowledge of international standards for power cables.
- UK Forklift license and crane operation experience.
