Senior Electrical Engineer needed for high tech, leading solutions provider for intelligence and defense industries!

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

• Analyzes and proposes alternatives and design solutions for difficult technical problems.
• Prepares technical proposals and evaluates results of analytical, experimental or design studies. Implements creative solutions based on these evaluations.
• Defines and analyzes technical requirements for a broad range of engineering tasks of increased complexity.
• Performs the duties of Project Lead, responsible for schedule, budget and quality.
• Provides technical expertise for engineering disciplines and problem resolutions.
• Provides logical solutions to complex engineering and business problems.
• Makes and/or recommends appropriate modifications (i.e., installs filters, electronic components, shielding, etc.) necessary for the EUT to meet requirements.
• Plans and organizes the responsibilities for a broad spectrum of assignments when given only an identification of objectives to be obtained.
• Provides technical expertise for engineering systems. Responsibilities include systems level and component level design of both analog and digital systems with emphasis on EMI/RFI design. Works with software engineers, Tempest engineers, and other disciplines during systems integration of prototype or manufactured units.
• Troubleshoots electrical problems.
• Collaborates with project leaders to formulate goals and technical direction of a design project.
• Attends project/engineering design reviews and meetings as required.
• Reviews all appropriate drawings required to support product design.
• Working knowledge of ORCAD PCB design software.
• Knowledge of filter circuit designs.
• Works with Manufacturing Engineering to solve production problems that result in production test failures.
• Reads schematics and flow diagrams.

• Strong Electrical Engineering background with analog and digital RF filter design experience.
• Good understanding of component level design of both analog and digital systems with emphasis on EMI/RFI design.
• Experience with OrCAD PCB design software.
• Project leadership experience (preferred).
• Active Secret Clearance (preferred).

• Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance (required).
• Active DoD Security Clearance (preferred).
