SummaryTo monitor the establishment and maintenance of payment sources for the New Hampshire Liquor Commission, including investigating issues, implementing solutions, and following all NHLC rules and policies.
ExperienceEach additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and vice versa.
Minimum Qualifications- Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in accounting.

When applicable, the work of an employee in trainee status in this position shall be overseen by a fully qualified individual. An employee in trainee status shall meet the minimum qualifications within the period of time specified on the SJD, not to exceed one year of being hired into this position.
Responsibilities- Prepare, collect, analyze, upload, and review financial reports and NH Treasury’s bank reports regarding a variety of accounts receivable to General Ledger; research and resolve any variances.
- Prepare and reconcile revenue funds to ensure funds are posted to the correct revenue source.
- Investigate licensee finance and payment related questions; develop and implement solutions; create opportunities to educate these customers in the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission cash/credit management program.
- Review and resolve store inquiries regarding daily store financials and customer payments.
- Maintain the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission office petty cash and revolving fund, including preparation and disbursement of checks; accounting of proper general ledger account; preparation of necessary paperwork for petty cash replenishment; reconcile monthly bank statement for the office revolving fund bank account.
- Provide guidance and cross‑functional support to NHLC Accounts Receivable staff.
- Develop and maintain procedural documents for own position according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required, including research, analysis, and reconciliation; assist in preparing ad‑hoc reports.
