Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing
• Convert company‑provided purchase opportunities into funded loans
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Manage an active pipeline while meeting service levels and funding expectations
• Leverage Zillow’s CRM and loan origination systems
• Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams
• Deliver high-quality customer experience through multiple communication channels
• Stay current on market trends and regulatory requirements
• Maintain active licensing and participate in ongoing professional development

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions
• Active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or Loan Originator under a federal bank license
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre‑Licensing Education
• Successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test
• Strong client service orientation
• Consultative sales skills
• Understanding of the mortgage process
• Comfortable in a structured, performance‑driven environment with defined KPIs
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
