Job Description & How to Apply Below
Most “financial advisor” postings ask you to sell products. This one asks you to build relationships that last decades. Our firm has spent years refining a proven blend of strategies to bring clients through the door — you bring the license, the judgment, and the follow-through. What you build here is yours: your book, your reputation, your client relationships.
If you've ever sat across from someone at a kitchen table and watched the moment they finally understood their retirement was actually going to be okay — that's the job. Every day.
What Your Week Actually Looks Like- Always checking in on clients whose life circumstances shifted (new baby, new job, a parent who needs care) and adjusting their plan accordingly.
- Most days include 3–5 client conversations, ranging from a 25-year-old opening their first Roth IRA to a couple 18 months from retirement recalculating their risk tolerance.
- Ongoing, you're the person clients call when the market drops 4% in a day and they want to know if they should panic. (They shouldn't. You'll tell them why.)
- Meet with clients to map out income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax situation, and risk tolerance — then translate that into a plan they actually understand, not just one that's technically correct.
- Answer the hard questions: “Can I retire at 60?” “Should I pay off the house or invest?” “What happens to this if I die first?”
- Analyze client financial data to build and adjust strategies as life changes.
- Manage and rebalance client portfolios as markets shift and circumstances evolve.
- Grow your own book of business using the leads and referral pipeline we provide, plus your own network.
- 5+ years in financial services, with a track record you can talk through in specifics — not just “increased client satisfaction.”
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- The ability to explain a sophisticated strategy to someone who's never heard the term “sequence of returns risk” — and make them feel smarter, not smaller.
- Sharp analytical instincts paired with genuine curiosity about what actually matters to each client.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- A self‑starter mindset — we provide the leads and the process, you provide the drive.
- Series 66 (or Series 63 + 65) — required, or must be obtained within [X months] of hire.
- NH Life and Health license.
- Competitive base + commission structure.
- Employer‑matched retirement savings plan.
- Paid time off and holidays.
- Ongoing support for continuing education and additional certifications (CFP, ChFC, etc.).
- Warm leads and a proprietary sales process — you're not starting from zero.
- A team that treats your growth as part of the business plan, not an afterthought.
Ready to build a practice, not just fill a seat? We'd like to hear from you.
