The Investor Relations Manager supports the organization's capitalization efforts by managing investor relationships, coordinating stewardship activities, maintaining investment records and reporting systems, and advancing efforts to attract and retain investors. This position serves as a key point of contact for individual and institutional investors and works closely with members of the Philanthropy, Finance, and Marketing & Communications teams to ensure a positive investor experience as evidenced by seamless onboarding and high renewal rates.
As a member of the Philanthropy team, the Investor Relations Manager manages an assigned portfolio of investor relationships and helps coordinate engagement activities across the organization. The successful candidate will be comfortable discussing investment opportunities, supporting other philanthropic giving conversations, and helping ensure that investor communications and reporting are accurate, timely, and meaningful.

Non-Exempt Salary range: $65,000 - $82,000, depending on experience
Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The Investor Relations Manager’s work is organized into three core areas:
1. Investor Development & Stewardship (relationship building and new investment growth)
- Develop and strengthen relationships with current and prospective investors to attract new investments and increase investment renewals.
- Own the onboarding process for new investors, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Conduct investor meetings, presentations, and outreach efforts, maintain knowledge of organizational programs to connect investors with impact opportunities.
- Collaborate with members of the Philanthropy Team to develop individualized engagement strategies for major investors and donors.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Community Loan Fund in the community.
- Support high-value engagement opportunities as needed.
2. Investment Operations & Administration (renewals, documentation, databases, compliance)
- Work with other members of the Philanthorpy and Finance teams to ensure accurate processing of investment documents, interest payments, and investor transactions including renewals and repayments.
- Maintain a high degree of data integrity of investor and investment records in the Communnity Loan Fund’s CRM, and optimize systems and procedures for utilizing that data to improve efficiency and the investor experience.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor investor activity and portfolio information.
3. Reporting & Organizational Collaboration (reporting, analysis, events, internal coordination)
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to the Investments program.
- Provide updates and due diligence requests for investors as needed.
- Provide investment updates and portfolio analysis to leadership and internal teams.
- Support fundraising and philanthropic initiatives across departments.
- Participate in organizational planning and team meetings.
- Assist with investor and donor events.
- Track goals, outcomes, and engagement activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Five to seven years of sales, fundraising, financial services, investor relations, or resource development experience
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, donors, or financial professionals
- Understanding of financial services products, investment practices, or community development finance is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with customer relations management (CRM) strategies and systems;
Salesforce expereince preferred - Knowledge of research, prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and relationship-management practices
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and One Note and virtual commnications platforms like Zoom
