An exciting opportunity has opened to join our close-knit allied health team. This role offers genuine variety, delivering services across multiple settings - from empowering residents in residentialaged care to live life to the fullest.

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist who valuesbuilding meaningful relationships with residents and clients, while applying strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills toenhance participation and quality of life. The role is Part- timebased in our Rockingham facility 2 days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Functional retraining and rehabilitation
  • Cognitive stimulation therapy for dementia

You’ll enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This position is available asfull-time permanent or part-time permanent, offering flexibility tosuit your lifestyle.

About you

You will have prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with previous experience working in Aged Care desirable.

You’ll be motivated by a genuine passion to empower aged care clients to live life to the fullest. Strong problem-solving, time management and organisational skills, along with the ability towork independently are essential in this role.

In addition, you will also possess:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997), Occupational Healthand Safety legislation and Accreditation Standards.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills,including the ability to problem solve and resolve conflict
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and support staff
  • The ability to work well autonomously and in a team environment
  • Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6months)
