The Director of Operations assists Department Managers in managing the daily operations of the hotel while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include driving revenue and controlling expenses to achieve strong financial performance, training and development of team members, providing direction to ensure adherence to hotel policies, standards, procedures, and expectations, and managing labor and payroll.

The director must maintain frequent, detailed communication with Department Managers to maintain consistency across all shifts.

This role is heavily focused on the day‑to‑day operations of The Notch Grille – back‑of‑house, front‑of‑house service, bar operations, and guest dining experiences. The Director of Operations also supports and assists in all areas of hotel operations, including the front desk, housekeeping, and overall guest services.

Minimum of 3 years of leadership, management or supervisory experience preferred, as well as a college degree and/or equivalent work experience. Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices within the Hospitality Profession, including experiential knowledge required for management of people and complex problems; understand the operations of other departments (Sales, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering);
Associates Degree and/or equivalent work experience;
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
