Job Summary
The Temporary Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the HR department, ensuring day to day operations. This role assists with employee records management, recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding processes, and compliance with company polices. This position will be required to handle confidential information with discretion and will support HR initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
ScheduleMonday through Friday; 8am to 4:30pm, 30-minute unpaid break.
Responsibilities- Administer day to day human resources operation, including employee records management, personnel files, and HR systems maintenance.
- Coordinate recruitment and hiring activities, such as posting job openings, phone screens, coordination of interviews, and coordination of preboarding activities.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring completion of required paperwork and system access.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.
- Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR administrative work preferred.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Office Suite experience is preferred.
- Advanced computer knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) preferred.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations (federal, state, and local).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $22.74 USD
