The State of New Hampshire, Department of Information Technology, Business Relationship Management Division has a full-time vacancy for Assistant Director - Business Relationship Management Division.

Summary:

The Assistant Director of the Business Relationship Management Division is a senior-level executive responsible for leading multiple DoIT support teams, directing enterprise level initiatives, assisting in developing divisional strategies all to improve business engagement opportunities across all partner agencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Ten years of experience in information technology or data management, five years of which shall have been in a supervisory or management capacity. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

License/Certification: Must be eligible to hold a valid driver's license and have access to transportation for use in statewide travel.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Director serves as the Business Relationship Management Division Director when designated or when the Director and Deputy Director are unavailable.

Plans, directs, monitors, reports on and evaluates multi-project, enterprise-level information technology activities. This responsibility includes all statewide enterprise technology platforms.

Directs all assigned managers and coordinates team resources throughout the implementation and ongoing operation of multi-project enterprise-level information technology projects.

Plans, prepares, implements and monitors project plans and budgeted within the framework of agency goals and objectives; assists in providing Business Relationship Management Division related information technology budget recommendations.

Facilitates collaboration with agency leadership developing strategy and guidance with respect to the investment, development and growth of enterprise technology platforms in support of agencies' business goals.

Works as a mentor with division-wide project managers promoting, teaching and mentoring staff in project management practices, standards and hands-on project scheduling and project management, assists staff with RFP's, contracts and technical justification documents.

Provides director level approval and oversight in all administrative arenas for enterprise related functions.

Facilitates the participation of the division and other DoIT resources in the various audits of enterprise applications and systems, both scheduled and unscheduled. This includes collaborating with IT Leads and business partners to provide DoIT resources required for audits and their remediation.

Builds a library of training materials for Business Relationship Management Division IT Leads, managers, and enterprise application resources addressing continuous improvement, project management, contract development, procurement and customer service.

Provides budget oversight with all Leads and the DoIT Business and Finance Administration (DOIT) for enterprise related systems.
