While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

• The Identity Access team owns Sign In, Sign Up, Account Recovery, and Session Management — the front door to Coinbase for every user across every product. This is one of the first experiences customers have with Coinbase, serving millions of users globally across Retail, Exchange, Prime, Custody, and CDP.

• Our mission is to make access simple, native, and secure — with seamless sign in under 10 seconds, passwordless authentication, trusted biometrics, and easy recovery. We balance ease-of-use with security, protecting users from ATO while maintaining a delightful experience. This role sits within Platform PG and partners closely with Consumer, Insto, and Risk teams.

• Own Sign In and Sign Up vision, strategy, and execution across all Coinbase products

• Drive key metrics including sign in success rate, sign up success rate, time to login (
