Position Overview

The Senior Consultant, Client Solutions serves as a trusted advisor to state and local education agencies across the Pacific Northwest, leading complex client engagements that integrate strategy, operations, and technology-enabled solutions. The role focuses on delivering high-impact consulting services while also driving revenue growth through client expansion, solution upsell, and identification of new business opportunities, representing approximately 20‑25% of the overall focus.

A core expectation of this role is the ability to understand, lead, and manage large, complex, and often custom technology implementations, including enterprise platforms, data systems, and integrated solutions that support regulatory, operational, and educational outcomes.

While primarily a remote role, it is expected that the successful candidate resides within the Pacific Northwest (ideally within Seattle, WA but will also consider Portland, OR), has a strong professional reputation within the region, and can travel as needed to support clients, implementations, and growth initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities Client Strategy, Delivery & Leadership
  • Develop and execute state and local consulting strategies aligned with client priorities, regulatory requirements, and PCG solution offerings.
  • Serve as a senior client‑facing leader, ensuring delivery excellence across complex, multi‑group engagements.
  • Independently manage complex projects, staff, budgets, and deliverables with limited supervision while meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Ensure client retention and long‑term success through consistent delivery quality and proactive relationship management.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive client communication and governance plans.
  • Identify and elicit business, operational, and technical requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate executive‑level discussions, working sessions, and decision‑making forums.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and operational or technical constraints and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Plan, monitor, and adjust project execution to ensure scope, schedule, quality, and financial alignment.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and lead cross‑functional consulting, technical, and client teams.
  • Prepare high‑quality written deliverables, executive briefings, and client‑facing materials.
  • Supervise client success and delivery teams.
Technology & Complex Solution Implementation (Core Responsibility)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise and custom technology solutions used by public sector education agencies, including data systems, workflow platforms, compliance tools, and integrated applications.
  • Lead or oversee large‑scale, complex, and often custom technology implementations, serving as a bridge between client stakeholders, consulting teams, and technical delivery resources.
  • Translate client business and policy needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Guide clients through technology planning, implementation, change management, and adoption processes.
  • Manage implementation risk, dependencies, and interdependencies across policy, operations, and technology.
  • Partner closely with technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to client outcomes.
  • Support clients in navigating system customization, integration, data migration, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensure technology solutions…
